THIS WEEK'S QUILTING REPORT

This will be a very quick post at the last minute before we leave for the weekend.

I finished this cross stitched project.

I decided to start quilting this UFO and got all the blocks quilted.  Please excuse the picture as it was done without proper lighting.

Maybe this one is better.  I don't know if you can see the quilting or not.

I ran into a snag on my Kaleidoscope quilt and decided to "unquilt" part of the inner border.  I finished the rest of the border the way I wanted to do it with leaves and just have to take care of the corrected part.  Then I will try to figure out what to quilt in the outer border.

Have a nice weekend!

  1. How pretty that cross stitch piece is! Will it be framed or a pillow? I really like the UFO pattern, and your quilting looks really nice. You know already that I love the Kaleiodoscope! I may have to steal that one! Have a fun week-end! I've got to go finish getting the twigs/branches off the lawn after this week's hail! I've also got to finish the baby quilt for Saturday!!---"Love"

  3. Your machine quilting is fabulous! I am doing some myself today. A baby quilt I made from vintage blocks. Still deciding on a pattern for the quilting. I'm thinking big daisy-like flowers in a cream. Nothing showy.

How are you enjoying your new machine?

  4. Your quilting is beautiful. I need to gather courage and just do more quilting. I love your scrappy "crosses" quilt--I don't know the official name.
And the Kaleidoscope quilt is amazing.
